At Nyaya Sahayata Kendra, we ensure that consumer grievances are addressed efficiently. Once we receive a consumer complaint, we promptly process the necessary documentation and forward it to our designated team for immediate action based on the nature of the issue.
Our Complaint Resolution Process
We adhere to a structured approach to handling consumer complaints:
- After registering a complaint with us, we send a formal e-Notice to the opposing party within 2-3 working days. Throughout the process, we keep the consumer informed about every action taken regarding their complaint.
- The opposing party is given 7-10 days to investigate and resolve the issue. If they fail to do so within the given time frame, we escalate the matter to higher authorities for urgent intervention.
- If there is no response within 7-10 working days following the second notice, our legal team steps in to prepare the necessary legal documentation. The case is then submitted to the appropriate District Consumer Forum, State Commission, or Consumer Court.
Importance of Legal Drafting
The purpose of drafting legal documents includes:
- Organizing relevant material effectively.
- Presenting information concisely.
- Simplifying data for easy comprehension.
- Ensuring that all parties, including clients and the court, have clear details regarding the issue.
Once the legal team finalizes the required documents, the consumer must submit all supporting evidence in hard copy along with the legal draft to the designated court address.
Self-Representation in Consumer Cases
There is no requirement to hire a lawyer—consumers have the right to file and represent their complaints independently or through an authorized representative.
